Cookie Policy
This document is published in English. Translations elsewhere on the site are for convenience; the English version governs.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on highertouch.ai, what each one does, and how to control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which keeps small values in your browser, and pixels, which are tiny images used to record that a page loaded. We use cookies and local storage. We do not use advertising pixels.
2. How we use them
We keep this deliberately small. Cookies here do three things: keep the site working, remember your preferences such as language and cookie choices, and, only if you agree, count page views so we can see which sections clinics actually read.
No analytics or marketing cookies run before you choose. Analytics does not load until you allow it, and if you decline or later switch it off we delete the analytics cookies we can reach from this site. One strictly necessary request does run on your first visit, to pick the right language for you. It is described in Location detection below.

We enable IP anonymisation on Google Analytics. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Marketing
We do not currently set advertising or retargeting cookies. The Marketing switch in Cookie Settings exists so that, if that ever changes, your preference is already recorded and respected.
Hosting and performance
Our host, Vercel, provides privacy-friendly traffic and performance measurement that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
4. Location detection
The first time you visit, before you have chosen a language, your browser makes one request to get.geojs.io, a third-party service that returns the country your IP address appears to be in. We use that country to open the site in Thai, Chinese or English rather than guessing.
- It sends your IP address to that service. We do not receive or store your IP from it, only a two-letter country code.
- It sets no cookie. The only thing kept is your resulting language in the
ht-langvalue listed above. - It runs once. As soon as a language is stored on your device, the request is skipped on every later visit.
- Choosing a language from the switcher in the header overrides it permanently and prevents the lookup.
We treat this as strictly necessary, because it decides which version of the page you are served. If you would rather it never ran, pick a language from the header switcher on your first visit, or block requests to get.geojs.io in your browser. The site falls back to English if the request is blocked or slow.
5. Manage your cookies
Open your settings at any time and change any category. Your choice is stored on this device, so you will need to set it again on a different browser or after clearing your browser data.
6. Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site. Most browsers offer a Do Not Track signal; there is no common standard for how sites should respond, so we do not rely on it. We do honour Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires us to treat them as an opt-out.
7. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to non-essential cookies will trigger a fresh consent request.
